Found in 1995 as a chance cross between E.fastuosum and E. fastuosum alba by Geoff Duxfield when he owned and operated Woodland Gardens Wholesale Nursery . It is a fast growing hardy perennial with spectacular spikes of blue flowers in late spring/summer
