Echium 'Duxfield Blue' originated from the Southern Highlands of NSW. Found in 1995 as a chance cross between E.fastuosum and E. fastuosum alba by Geoff Duxfield when he owned and operated Woodland Gardens Wholesale Nursery. It is a fast growing hardy perennial with spectacular spikes of blue flowers in late spring/summer
